Do you own the Samsung Captivate? The good news is that if you’re looking and hoping for the Gingerbread 2.3.4 update, the official build has been leaked. Unfortunately the process is a bit tricky and perhaps a little bit more advanced than most would care for. The good news is that it’s out there and if you have any experience using Odin to flash your device, perhaps you might be interested in heading down to XDA’s forum to check it out.
As usual with unofficial builds or leaks, we can’t be sure if this is indeed the final version or if it’s bug free, so everything is done at your own risk! Then again, given that the official build has been leaked, it’s safe to assume that the actual official update isn’t too far behind.
