Can’t wait for the Samsung Galaxy S II? If you can’t or if you prefer not to be tied down to a contract with either AT&T or T-Mobile, then perhaps there is another option for you to explore, although this one might cost you quite a bit. It seems that the much anticipated device is now available on Newegg’s website for a whopping $649.99.

The good news is that for that price, you will be getting the device unlocked and since it is said to be compatible with both AT&T and T-Mobile’s networks, you will have the freedom to choose which carrier you prefer. It’s not a cheap option but then again that’s the price you pay for the freedom of choice. Alternatively you could always wait for the device to pop up on either carrier and get it for a lower price on contract.
