ASUS Padfone to feature Ice Cream Sandwich

Remember a while back, ASUS teased us with a poster of an upcoming product where they asked if it was a tablet or a phone. It turned out to be their Padfone which as the name implies, is a hybrid product bl etween a tablet and a smartphone. The photo is attached to the tablet, which can be removed when you desire to use the phone portion of the device.

If the device caught your attention, the good news is that according to ASUS’s Personal Mobile Device department, the Padfone is expected to come shipped with the latest build of Android – the much-anticipated Ice Cream Sandwich. The platform is expected to see a launch in October, or so the rumors claim, so if you were hoping to get your hands on the Padfone, it’s safe to say that we can expect it to launch any time after October.
