According to Digitimes, Apple has been ramping up production for the upcoming iPhone 5. Given that the iPhone 5 has not even been confirmed yet, let’s hope that these rumors are true and are an indication that the iPhone 5 is truly on its way. However the rumors have also said that Apple has cut down its initial estimates from 7 million to 5.5 million for the iPhone 5, but at the same time ramped up production for their iPhones up to 20 million, which is an increase of 6 million from their previous estimates.
I don’t know about you guys, but I sure am excited about the possible release of the iPhone 5. Given that the rumors have been pointing at a September/October release, let’s hope that Digitimes got their numbers right!
