Last week, a day or so after HP announced that they would be discontinuing their webOS for tablets and smartphones, it was reported that webOS engineers attempted to load up the OS on the iPad 2 and reported a huge increase in performance. Well, not to feel left out it appears that there is a team working on a ROM that will allow Android to run on the HP TouchPad. It’s still in the works so no word if and when it will be completed and released to the public, but wouldn’t that be pretty interesting to see how Android performs on the TouchPad?
