Acer Iconia Tab A500 getting Gingerbread update 25th August

Good news Acer Iconia Tab A500 users – it appears that there is an update on the way for your tablet, which will be upgraded to the Honeycomb 3.2 platform. The update will be arriving on the 25th of August, which apparently a later date than it was supposed to be. However this was due to some policy changes by Google that the company had to comply with.

The delay was announced on their Malaysian Facebook page, so we’re not sure if this is just limited to Malaysia/Asia or will it affect the global release of the Honeycomb 3.2 release. Anyway 25th of August is just two weeks away, I guess most of us will be able to wait it out.
