About 27,000 South Koreans looking to seek damages from Apple

A while back we reported that Apple was ordered to pay a South Korean user a sum of money as he was not too thrilled that Apple was tracking his location. Now it seems that Apple is going to be sued again in South Korea, and this time by about 27,000 users.

The original user was not pleased by the courts decision to award him a measly 1 million Won so he set up a website that attempted to seek out other users who may have felt violated by Apple’s collection of their location data. So far he has managed to accumulate close to 27,000 signatures, 26,691 to be exact. Those users will be seeking the same amount of damages as he did, which is 1 million Won.
