7″ Amazon “Coyote” tablet to be launched in October?

Remember we said that Amazon had a couple of Android tablets lined up? Well as it turns out we may start seeing the “Coyote” tablet being released in October as Quanta, one of the manufacturers for Amazon’s Kindle, has said that they are set to ship as many as 3 million “Coyote” tablets to Amazon by October. This roughly translates to about 800-900,000 tablets shipped per month during Q3!

If you’ve been meaning to get your hands on a tablet not by Samsung, HTC or Motorola, it could be as early as this October when you will be able to get your hands on Amazon’s 7” “Coyote”. The “Hollywood” tablet is slated for a 2012 release, so I guess those who have been meaning to get a 10.1” quad-core tablet will have to wait until next year.
