ZTE looking to become a household name in the UK

When it comes to our smartphones, we’re generally quite spoilt for choice and usually we would love to get our hands on the best device we possibly can in order to avoid it becoming obsolete too quickly. Well for those who are unfamiliar with the ZTE brand, they’re a company that specializes in putting out budget-friendly devices, and now they’re looking to become more of a household name inUK.

It seems that the company has signed a deal with the retailer Brightpoint in theUKto start selling the devices directly to customers. While they may not be the best Android phones you can buy with your money, they are definitely value for money at the very least, and it will be suited for those who are on a budget.

If you’re a Windows Phone 7 fan, you should probably take note that ZTE was one of the manufacturers that Microsoft had listed to produce their WP7 devices, so perhaps you should also keep an eye out for that.
