If you were jealous of your iOS friends who were enjoying free VoIP calls via the Viber apps, it looks like Android users will be enjoying those features too, along with a couple of other features that seem to be limited to just the Android version of the app.

Initially available only for the iPhone, the Android version of the finally made its way out of beta and into the devices of Android users. It does pretty much what the iPhone version does, with a couple of exceptions. In the Android version, features such as pop-up text message notification, in-app call logs, and the option to use Viber as your default dialler are all there.

Granted you guys on Android have Google Talk, but hey, an alternative VoIP app that you can use to call your iOS friends with is always welcome!
