Unlock your computer using your phone’s Bluetooth

If you’re looking for a slightly more secure way of locking your computer, then perhaps unlocking your computer through the use of your Bluetooth-enabled cell phone should prove to be ever so slightly more secure.

The software on the computer is called BTProximity and it can be configured to detect your phone whenever it is in proximity. Naturally, this would require not only your phone to have Bluetooth, but your computer as well. So all you’d have to do is bring your phone into proximity and your computer will unlock itself.
