Sprint’s Galaxy Tab Is Getting Gingerbread 2.3 Update

Good news Galaxy Tab owners, if you’re still using the 7-inch version of the tablet, and have not swapped it out for the Galaxy Tab 10.1, then it looks like the Android Gingerbread 2.3 update is on its way to you. The 7-inch tablet will be getting the update come July 5th, a little love after Independence Day we’re guessing. Either way it’s still good news. If the 5th of July comes and you still have not automatically received your updates, you can always do a manual search by selecting “Update Android” via your tablets settings.

If you still don’t receive the update, not to worry because the update is said to be rolling out over a 4-day period from Google’s servers.
