3D – love ’em or hate ’em, it appears that they are here to stay currently. With LG introducing the Optimus 3D, and later HTC with their EVO 3D, it appears that Samsung does not want to be left out of the picture. If the rumors are to be believed, Samsung is said to be working on a 3D handset as well, which they are calling the Galaxy 3D (for now).

The rumored specifications of the device are said to feature a 1.2GHz dual-core Exynos processor, a 4.3-inch 3D LCD screen and dual 8MP cameras. There will be an HD TV-out as well to output captured 3D content directly on the 3D TV. It will also be running on Android’s Gingerbread 2.3 operating system. The device is expected to make an appearance in Q4 later this year.
