Samsung Galaxy S owners in Europe to receive Android Gingerbread 2.3.4 update

Good news for our readers inEuropeas it looks like the Android Gingerbread 2.3.4 update will be coming soon for your Samsung Galaxy S device. Along with the update brings Google Talk video chat, which means your front-facing camera can now be put to other uses besides taking self portraits.

According to SamFirmware, they have managed to uncover a screenshot dated back to the 3^rd of June, which means that the release should not be too far off. Samsung Europe has confirmed that the update will be rolling out to European countries come Q3 in 2011, and we’re guessing the international version should be rolling out shortly after that.
