Rendering of the LG Optimus Slider spotted

A while back we had reported on a LG slider device that had made an appearance, and which featured a secondary touch screen. We had also reported on the speculations surrounding this device, with a remote possibility that it could be the LG Optimus Slider, but as it turns out we were wrong, as a rendering of the LG Optimus Slider has recently emerged.

This is not to say that the final device, which will be arriving at Sprint, will look anything like the rendering, although it seems that many think it should, or at the very least it should not deviate too far from the rendering.

The LG Optimus Slider is said to be one of the successors to the LG Optimus One, with the other successor, code-named “Gelato”, to be making its way to Verizon instead. No word on the specs of the device just yet, but a leaked roadmap schedule of Sprint has pointed at September for the release of the device.
