Motorola’s Titanium is apparently made out of “military-grade” materials

Users who require rugged and tough phones will be happy to know that the Motorola Titanium will be arriving soon. According to the poster that was leaked, the device will be making its way onto Sprint’s network come July 24th, and will come with a price tag of $149.99, along with a 2-year contract of course.

Based on the poster, the device looks to be made out of “military-grade” materials that is said to be able to withstand dust, shock, vibration, temperature extremes, solar radiation and low pressure. We’re not sure who actually needs all these features, but hey, you never know when it may come in handy.

The bad news is that it looks like it’ll only be coming with Android’s Éclair 2.1; yes you read that right! We’re not sure why, but I guess when ruggedness and durability is the deciding factor when you purchase a phone, perhaps the version of the platform it is running on suddenly seems less important.
