Huawei and ZTE are well known rivals, as both companies are famous for their budget-friendly offerings, so with the budget-friendly ZTE Tureis being made available in Europe, it looks like for those of us back in the States will have to contend with the Huawei Ascend II Android smartphone, which is just as budget-friendly. The Ascend II will be featuring a 3.5-inch display, 600HMz CPU, and 5MP camera and will run on Android’s Gingerbread 2.3, which seems like a pretty good deal for a device that is $129.99 off-contract.
However the price of $129.99 is a web-only offer, as the device will normally cost $179.99 off-contract, but thanks to the web offer, $50 gets shaved off the usual price. If budget is your buzz word of the day, perhaps the Ascend II might be a device worth considering.
