HTC Wildfire S spec sheet leaked (Updated)

The HTC Wildfire S has been available in Europe for quite some time already, although ever since the FCC filings, it has been rumored that T-Mobile will be its network of choice. Granted this probably isn’t the most high-end of Android devices, but based on its specs, it appears to be pretty capable of holding its own, and it should be reaching out to an audience whose priority would be the price.

Thanks to TmoNews, a leaked spec sheet of the device was found, and it appears to be running on an Qualcomm 600MHz processor, featuring a 3.2-inch display with 512MB of RAM and ROM each and a 5MP rear facing camera with flash. It will also come loaded up with Android Gingerbread 2.3, which is definitely a good thing. However there’s still no word on when the device is scheduled to make an appearance, or how much it will cost.

Update – As it turns out, T-Mobile just confirmed the device and will be selling the Wildfire S in white beginning on August 3 for $79.99 with a new two-year agreement and a Classic rate plan. Walmart and Sam’s Club will also be carrying the device, except it will be in an exclusive black version of the smartphone.
