Google Maps for Android brings 3D skylines to more cities

If there was one thing lacking on iOS devices that Android had, would be more advanced features of Google Map, with the native iOS Google Map remaining pretty much the same ever since it rolled out. It seems that yet another update to Google Maps for Android devices has rolled out and this time it is bringing more 3D functionality to it.

Last year in December, Google Maps featured 3D skylines to only a handful of cities, but now it seems that the update will allow users to rotate, tilt, and zoom in and out of 3D maps for the following cities – London, Paris, Barcelona, Stockholm, Singapore, Lisbon, Boulder, and 11 major cities in South Africa. All of this is basically an addition to New York City, Zurich, Milan and others.

The good news is that you won’t need to download anything, just open up Google Maps on your Android 2.0+ device and enjoy!
