Gingerbread 2.3 updates should be available on the Droid Incredible 2

Droid Incredible 2 users, good news, as it looks like the Gingerbread 2.3 update has been rolled out to you guys, so by right you should have received the notifications already. If you have not, just hop on down to your phone’s Settings > System Updates > Check New.

The update will come at 116MB, so if you prefer to save your data, then perhaps you should wait till you’re at home or in a WiFi area before proceeding to download the update.

The updates should also be bringing some fixes to the Hotmail sync and connect issues, improvements to the Mobile IM, as well as device connectivity when you’re overseas and using the device for roaming purposes. If you still have not gotten the update, not to worry as the update download could be staggered over the course of a couple of days.
