As we all know, the Cisco Cius will be making its way to AT&T and will be running on their 4G HSPA+ network. Now it looks like Cisco has teamed up with Verizon as well to bring a 4G LTE version of the tablet. For those who forgot, the Cisco Cius will be offering:

  • Operating System: Android OS (not sure which version, hopefully it will be the latest Honeycomb 3.2)
  • Apps: AT&T, Cisco and Android apps
  • Flash Support: Yes
  • Multitasking: Yes
  • Screen: 7-inch, multi-touch widescreen color display
  • Screen Resolution: 1024 x 600
  • Camera: Dual front and rear facing cameras
  • Ports: micro-USB (tablet); standard USB (HD media station)
  • Navigation: GPS
  • Storage: 32 GB internal flash
  • Wireless: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G/4G
  • Dimensions: 8.85 x 5.5 x 0.59 in. (225 x 140 x 15 mm)
  • Weight: 1.15lbs (0.52kg)

Like we had mentioned in our earlier post regarding the Cisco Cius, the tablet is not aimed at the consumer market, meaning it’s highly unlikely that you will see the tablet on the shelves when you walk into AT&T and Verizon stores, although if you’re an enterprise user, we’re guessing certain arrangements can be made with either network to bring the tablet to your company.
