ASUS Eee Pad Slider delayed until Autumn

Published

Bad news for those who have been hoping to get their hands on the ASUS Eee Pad Slider as the device has been delayed until Autumn, and apparently this is because ASUS has been sending out surveys to customers, asking them what they think is important to them in a tablet.

As we all know, ASUS has enjoyed great success with their Eee Pad Transformer which has constantly been sold out, so it looks like they’re hoping for a repeat performance with the Eee Pad Slider, which means they’re not taking any chances. Let’s hope that the surveys will translate into yet another best-seller for ASUS.

As much as we can appreciate a company attempting to put out the best product they possibly can, ASUS should probably move fast as there will be other tablets looking to enter the market – the rumored Motorola Xoom 2 being one of them, and if Motorola beats them to the punch, we can definitely see the Eee Pad Slider being overshadowed and taking a back seat to the Xoom 2.
