Apple hiring iPhone specialists from August to October, pointing at iPhone 5 release?

Rumors are pointing at a September announcement for the next-generation iPhone, with the release supposedly being around October, but it looks like we might be getting our hands on the next-gen iPhone sooner than we thought.

It seems that Apple is hiring a lot of iPhone specialists for the second half of August for a temporary position which will last all the way until October. Apple will be providing training from 9 August to 12 August, with work beginning on the 15th of August and end on the 29th of October.

Apple said applicants must be able to “commit to the period of the campaign.” We’re not sure what Apple is hoping for these applicants to commit to, and speculations are pointing at this to be the range of dates that the next-gen iPhone will be making an appearance.

However since Apple is the one doing the hiring, this is about as close to proof that we can get, unless of course Apple is planning something else, but for now let’s keep our fingers crossed.
