We all know Foxconn as the company based in China that is responsible for the manufacturing of Apple’s products, namely the iPad and the iPhone. Well if the rumors are to be believed, it appears that Amazon will be using Foxconn as well to manufacturer their tablets. Now previously we had reported that we may be seeing Amazon’s tablets in October, but now it looks like according to Digitimes, those tablets may only start shipping in 2012 due to some issues with NVidia’s Tegra-3 “Kal-El” processor. Since rumors tend to be highly unreliable, I guess we will have to wait and find out, although right now a lot of people seem to be thinking that Amazon’s tablets should be giving other Android tablets a run for their money. Let’s hope they can live up to the hype.
