Xperia Play And Xperia Arc Gets Android 2.3.3 Update From Vodafone

Good news Vodafone users who own the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and Xperia Arc because you should be getting the Android Gingerbread 2.3.3 update this morning. Verizon Xperia users will have to wait I guess.

Now according to Vodafone, the Gingerbread 2.3.3 update will bring with it improved voice quality, stability improvements, and email set-up and exchange account improvements, but the most important feature that they will be bringing along with the update is the Facebook integration, as we had reported earlier.

However what makes Facebook Inside Xperia unique is that liking music currently playing on your phone will send an update to your Facebook feed, which can be clicked through for more information via Sony Ericsson’s TrackID. Photos viewed on Facebook can also be saved and downloaded your phone. On top of that your Facebook calendar will also be synced to the phone and your Google account. Contacts on your phone can also be connected to Facebook profiles and you’ll be able to see their status updates, interests, and more.
