What Is The Motorola DROID HD?

Have you heard of the Motorola DROID HD? If you haven’t we can’t blame you, because until today neither have we. It seems that a photo recently uploaded on Flickr revealed the EXIF data of the photograph, and turns out that the device used to capture the photo is called the DROID HD. Coincidentally the photo was taken in Libertyville, Illinois where Motorola happens to have a campus nearby.

So what do you think we could be looking at? The name HD brings to mind 720p resolution, which in turn reminds us of the various rumors floating about the internet about the next Nexus device, which is rumored to be sporting a 720×1280 display, although the rumors also indicated that Samsung would be the one building it.

We also reported not too long ago about a mysterious Motorola device which had surfaced recently, without any physical buttons, so we’re wondering if that is the device that could be known as the Motorola DROID HD? I guess we’ll have to wait and find out.
