Virgin Mobile’s Android Phones Come With Default Skin
If you thought that it was by accident, it was not, but actually done on purpose, as a Virgin Mobile spokesperson told PCMag.com in an email.
“Virgin Mobile USA aims to make available devices that allow the end user to have the freedom to customize the device to their liking. We like to take a consistent approach with our Android portfolio and so we prefer to have the true Android experience loaded on all our Android phones.”
It is said that custom user interfaces some times makes the phone lag and becomes unstable which brings about an inconsistent experience for users, which is why many Android users have resorted to bootloaders which help to remove certain features of the user interface and make the device run more smoothly.
