Toshiba To Undercut iPad 2 Prices?

Published

on

Not to say that the iPad 2 is that expensive, but for its price it is selling pretty much like hotcakes, in fact trying to get your hands on iPad 2 stock these days can be quite difficult due to supply shortages. In terms of tablets it seems that the iPad 2 is also the tablet to beat, even Nokia seems to thinks so, so what other ways can tablet manufacturers do in order to boost their sales and beat out their competition?

Well it looks like Toshiba’s answer would be to undercut Apple’s iPad 2, by pricing their entry level tablet at $429 which is cheaper than the entry level iPad 2. While we won’t know for sure if that is going to change anything regarding iPad 2 competition, but perhaps in terms of competition within Android devices, Toshiba’s price cut may look more attractive to buyers who wish to get aboard the Android train.
