Toshiba Thrive Pre-Sale Starts June 13th

A week or so before we had reported that the Toshiba Thrive was up for pre-order at J&R’s but now it’s official as word for Toshiba executives have said that pre-orders for the device start June 13th and customers should start expecting shipments in early to mid July.

The Toshiba Thrive will be running on Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet that is powered by a dual core 1GHz Tegra 2 processor, a 1280 x 800 display, 2MP front camera and 5MP rear camera with auto-focus, Bluetooth 3.0+HS, b/g/n Wi-Fi, full sized SD card reader, full sized HDMI and USB 2.0, mini USB and dock ports. A removal case is also part of the Toshiba Thrive and along with the removable case is a removable battery for those who need the extra juice while on the go.

Less than a week to June 13th so not too long a wait for those who want to pre-order their device.
