If you’re a Blackberry user and you try to access the download page of Skype on your device, you should be encountering this error message whereby Skype actually tells you that perhaps you should get a new phone instead, one of the iOS, Android or (even) Symbian variety. Ouch. While Skype is more than capable of creating an app for Blackberry devices we have to wonder why is it that they have not done so, even until today? As it stands Blackberry users can only access Skype through third party applications which don’t bring about the same functionality and quality that the official Skype app does, which means judging by that message Blackberry users have been encountering, they will have to be content with running third party applications in the mean time.
Blackberry users do you feel personally affronted by this or do you not use Skype enough to really care?
