Skype Integration Spotted In webOS

It looks like the folks down at HP have been paying attention heard the suggestions from their users and have finally added Skype integration to their webOS 2.2 platform and much like Google Voice for Android, Skype users will be able to route their international calls automatically or be given a choice at every call. Calls can also be made with 3G connections and will not have to rely on WiFi and at the same time take advantage of the front facing camera on webOS devices to make video calls. Other features include:

• Skype is fully integrated into webOS
• Audio or video call from Contacts or Messaging
• Quality of the VGA front camera (640 × 480) is sufficiently good
• Skype calls are just as pure as telephone calls
• With video call, you’re asked whether you want to activate the camera
