Sears Is Selling Android Powered iPhone 4

Published

on

Remember a while back we reported that we spotted a Gooapple device which was basically a phone that was shaped in the design of the iPhone 4 but actually ran on the Android platform, well it looks like Sears may have picked up Gooapple and is selling it on its website for $263.99.

It’s apparently running on Android’s Froyo 2.2 and is packing dual-SIM card slots, 3.5 inch HVGA 320×480 capacitive touch screen with a 2MP camera in the back while running on the Media Tek MTK6516 416MHZ processor. If you’re unwilling to give up the looks of the iPhone 4 but want the power and flexibility of the Android operating system then perhaps this phone is for you.

We’ll have to warn you that shanzai phones like these are not safe as we had reported on our main site Ubergizmo that a man in India died from electrocution from his shanzai’d phone.

Update – It looks like Sears has taken it off their website, not sure why but we’re guessing safety reasons.
