Samsung DROID Charge Gets Updated

Good news Samsung DROID Charge owners, it looks like a new update will be pushed out to your devices very soon. The update should be bringing improved battery life especially during voice calls, better browsing experience, new email folder structure, improved GPS performance and most importantly the update will fix the mobile hotspot issue that users have been facing.

The bug for the mobile hotspot feature was causing problems by not allowing the hotspot to be used unless the phone’s date was set to some time in May but the update should fix that. Not really an issue if you don’t rely on your phone for the date and time but an update is an update and a bug fix is always welcome, so DROID Charge owners keep your eyes peeled for the OTA update which should be happening really soon.
