Ramos W10 Is An Affordable Android Tablet

Looking for an affordable Android tablet? Perhaps you should be looking at the Ramon W10, a 7-inch Android tablet that was revealed at Computex 2011 and was made in Shenzen, China.

It features a 7 inch display has a resolution of 800 x 480 and a rather decent 800MHz Cortex A9 AML8726-M processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with TF card expansion. The downside? Instead of the usual capacitive touch screens that are featured on tablets and smartphones these days, the Ramos W10 is instead sporting a resistive touch screen display. Probably not the best kind of touch screen for fast gameplay but for other uses it should be fine. Perhaps the resistive touch screen was one of the ways they cut cost in order to make the tablet more affordable to its customers.

If that is not a deal breaker to you then perhaps this is a tablet for you. It also runs on Android’s Froyo 2.2, offers WiFi, Bluetooth and HDMI connectivity. No word on when we will be seeing this device released or what it will be priced but all we know is that it will be affordable.
