Pioneer AppRadio Integrates Your iPhone With Your Vehicle

With all the integration we’re starting to see with our smartphones and tablets these days it’s really no surprise that our cars would be on that list and while Pioneer’s AppRadio isn’t exactly new it’s a good example of what we can start to see in the future when we purchase our cars, it could probably even aid in our decision if we should go with a certain car because that car would allow us to integrate our smartphones and tablets with it.

The Pioneer AppRadio features the access to your iPhone’s library of songs, let’s you use Google Maps, make phone calls and even gives you access to your contacts, calenders and photos so you can see what’s on your list of things to do from the 6.1-inch display. Unfortunately for the name “AppRadio” it only comes loaded up with four apps – Rdio, Pandora, MotionX-GPS Drive and INRIX, although Pioneer has said that more apps are to come although we’re not sure when.

Either way the AppRadio will set you back a cool $400 which is a rather pricey piece of equipment but if you’re an early adopter and would like to start integration your iPhone with your car then perhaps the Pioneer AppRadio is something you could pick up.
