Phone Recovery Stick, Recovered Deleted Data On Android Devices

If you’ve ever deleted data from your phone that you didn’t mean to, for example photos or notes, it seems that now there’s a solution where you may be able to recover that lost data, thanks to Paraben, a leader in digital forensics, who announced the release of the Phone Recovery Stick. Previously lost data had to be sent to forensic experts in order to retrieve it, which could cost quite a fair bit of money but now the Phone Recovery Stick allows people from home to do the same.

It’s a USB device so all one would have to do is plug it into a computer, plug their Android phone into the computer and just run the software. It downloads all sorts of data such as photos, videos, logs, address books, and you can even use the software to retrieve deleted text messages, contacts and etc.

“As a parent and an employer, I wanted to give other parents andemployers the same tools I use every day,” said Amber Schroader, CEO of Paraben Corporation. “Recovering deleted data from cell phones can be so important to parents, spouses, employers, or investigators.”

Sounds pretty good for all the innocent reasons that was suggested, but now that it’s so easy to retrieve deleted data, who’s to stop people with bad intentions from retrieving sensitive data that was meant to be deleted?
