Pantech Upgrades Their Vega X To Vega X+

Last year Pantech announced the Vega X which would be the world’s first Android phone to feature DDR2 RAM, the same type of RAM that was found in desktops and laptops. The Pantech Vega X would also go on to feature a 4-inch WVGA display, a 5MP autofocus camera and running on Android Froyo 2.2, but now it looks like the Korean company is interested in upgrading the Vega X, bringing it to the new Vega X+ name.

The new Vega X+ does not look to differ that much from the original Vega X and it will be still featuring a 4-inch display while running on a 1GHz Dual Core Snapdragon CPU but comes with an improved UI and is now available in two more colors including Gold Brown and White although no mention of which Android version it will be running, but we’re hoping it will be the latest offering – Gingerbread 2.3.
