LG’s Easy Home Update Targets Older People And New Users

Published

Users who are new to smartphones, or those of older generations are probably not used to touch screens and smartphones and probably have a hard time trying to navigate around the phone, unless of course they happen to be tech savvy. Well LG is not taking the chance that their future customers will be of the tech savvy variety, which is why they introduced the Easy Home update.

What the update brings to the table are bigger fonts and icons, along with redesigning the menu. We’re guessing the bigger fonts and icons will allow better readability, especially the older generation whose eye sight may not be as strong as the younger folks. It will probably also discourage accidental pressing of apps, because since the icons and fonts are so big, it will be hard to press the wrong app.

As it stands, the update is already available, but the bad news is that it is only available for the LG Optimus 2X and the LG Optimus Black, although LG has expressed interest in adding this feature into their future phones, although no word on whether they will be adding this feature to their older phones.
