LG Sends Out Reminder About The Optimus 3D

The LG Optimus 3D has seen its release being pushed back a couple of times and its latest one has seen the June 20th date pushed to July 11th and in an effort by LG not to let us forget about the device (and to probably keep us excited and pumped about it) they have issued a press release about it saying that it will eventually be released. It did not mention when exactly which is a bit worrying considering that the speculations have placed it at July 11th so if they are not confirming that perhaps we might be seeing a later release? An earlier release would be a plus but all they said was that it will be launching worldwide in the next few weeks and that their European customers will be getting their hands on it first.

A quick refresher for those who have already forgotten about the LG Optimus 3D. Processor wise LG is calling it as “Tri-Dual” which basically means that it is a dual-core CPU with dual-channel RAM and a dual-channel board configuration. It also features a 4.3-inch WVGA display that is capable of displaying 3D content without the requirement of special 3D glasses, much like the Nintendo 3DS. The dual-camera configuration on the back of the phone is capable of capturing stills and video in 3D as well and with the ability to record 3D video in 720p resolution, or 2D video in 1080p resolution. To sum it up? It’s a pretty fast phone.
