Good news, it seems as those Apple has sent out updates for two of its most popular iOS apps – iMovie and Garageband. Thanks to these updates both apps can now support audio playing to HDTVs through the Apple Digital AV Adapter, with iMovie also now being able to play full screen from Marquee using the adapter. Garageband now also gains audio output over Airplay, HDMI and Bluetooth devices, which is great way to pair some wireless Bluetooth enabled speakers especially for use during playback of recordings.
Garageband 1.0.1 also now allows for the import of AIFF, WAV and CAF files as well as 16-bit, 44.1kHz Apple Loops. Users can now make use of the copying and pasting of audio from supported apps into Garageband and an issue of Garageband freezing when playing Smart Instruments has also been fixed.
