There’s always talk about creating a class room for the future and it looks like Samsung is going to be contributing to that back in their home country of Korea, where the manufacturer will be rolling out their Samsung Galaxy Tab 7’s to public schools in Korea, with Daegu High School being the first school to carry the 7-inch Android Gingerbread 2.3 tablets.

A customized user interface was designed by Samsung to specifically meet the education needs of the classrooms. Wireless educational content sharing is another feature which would be used in specialized classrooms according to the subject being taught.

The Galaxy Tab is also planned to provide interactive communications between teachers and parents and to help further visualize report cards. I guess it was too much to hope that every student will be getting a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7, but regardless that would be a first, to see your report card on a tablet, but good on Samsung for taking the initiative and giving something back to the the community.
