Choose Your Favorite Smartphone And Donate

A website entitled ChooseForChange that was developed by a group of engineering students and former employees of Facebook and Microsoft could have possibly found a way to channel all that Apple Vs Android Vs RIM Vs Windows Vs Nokia and etc into something worthwhile.

Donors will select which smartphone is their favorite and donate money and as you can see in the example above, the amount donated will be divided by smartphone platform and represented by bar graphs. In the example above it looks like Apple users are the most generous while Windows Phone 7 are the least. The goal is to raise money for the World Partnership Walk whose funds go directly to international development projects supported by the Aga Khan Foundation Canada.

“The reason we wanted to build awareness about World Partnership Walk was because it is an event that is held across Canada annually. We wanted the external community to become a part of this and have the opportunity to take part. The World Partnership Walk is only affiliated with the Aga Khan Foundation so 100% of the proceeds will go directly there anyways.”
