China’s Meizu MX

If you haven’t heard of Meizu, you’re not the only one and nor can you be blamed as Meizu is actually a China company that usually produces handsets for their own country. In fact that company actually has a rather large following back in China and for good reason.

The Meizu MX is a pretty decent phone, packing a 4-inch 640×960 resolution display, dual-core ARM Cortex A9 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and an 8MP rear camera with back illuminated CMOS sensor and the phone also offers HSPA+ connectivity.

The device is expected to be launched come September for a price tag of $550 which isn’t too bad given its specifications. CEO of Meizu Jack Wong is also trying to make it a more attractive phone by offering a trade-in incentive for those who are looking to upgrade their phone from the previous generation’s Meizu M9.
