Apple’s iOS 5 To Have OTA App Updates?

In more rumors of what we will be seeing at Apple’s WWDC with regards to iOS 5, the latest rumor is saying that the iOS 5 will be over the air (OTA) updates for apps, which will be incredibly convenient for users who keep forgetting to update their apps by checking the App Store. I know that there have been times when I have accumulated over 20 app updates simply because I kept forgetting to check the App Store, and missed out some several new features for some of the apps.

Although this could eat into data plans so perhaps a notification of sorts will be delivered before proceeding with the update. There have also been rumors that iOS 5 will also bring Apple iOS updates OTA as well, so in the future users will not have to synch their iOS devices to their computers and iTunes in order to download future updates.

A rather interesting rumor, one that we hope we will be seeing come true later on today at Apple’s WWDC where the iOS 5 will be unveiled with additional details.
