Android Market Now Shows Device Compatability

There have been times when you have downloaded an app only to find out that it couldn’t run on your device. Sure some apps might be free and all that you would have wasted is some time and a bit of your data cap, while others are paid apps and while there is still the 15 minutes rerturn policy on the Android Market, it’s still a waste of time and data nonetheless.

Well it looks like Google has decided to save users the trouble of downloading an app and have it not work by adding a list of compatible devices to the left sidebar of the Android Market, as seen in the picture to the right. Saves everyone a lot of time and trouble. One has to wonder if Google included every possible Android phone out there because there are phone manufacturers out there apart from the big names that make cheap and budget friendly Android devices, I wonder if those are supported?
