A Shutter Button For Your iPhone 4

Published

Beep Industries’s Red Pop accessory for your iPhone is one of better accessories for the iPhone that we have seen. Trying to take self shots with the virtual shutter button on a touch screen is kind of difficult, although with the front facing camera on the iPhone 4 that’s perhaps easier, but trying to take a proper photo and keeping the phone still while tapping on the screen is perhaps not one of the better ways to take some beautiful steady photos on your iPhone.

Apparently the accessory not only adds a physical shutter button to your iPhone but also reduces the downtime in between photos thanks to the app that comes along with the device.

The Red Pop app (which will be free and downloadable from the Apple app store) fires up as soon as you connect Red Pop and the images you take will go straight into your camera album ready to be Tweeted, posted on Facebook or shared via your favourite camera apps. We will be talking to app makers about integration with their apps so if you back us please feel free to let us know via the comments page which apps you would like to see us team up with.

They are still currently trying to raise funds for their project. As it stands they’re at $8,235 out of a goal of $20,000. If you contribute $75 that basically pre-orders the unit for you if and when the device comes out. Check out their Kickstarter page for more info.
