White Galaxy Tab 10.1 arrives on eBay after Google I/O giveaway

Google was generous enough to hand out free tablets to all 5,000 attendees at the Google I/O 2011 conference today, which is a departure from what they did last year by offering free handsets to the masses then. Which would you prefer – a tablet or a smartphone? Since more people have smartphones than tablets already, it makes perfect sense for Google to be generous with a device that can showcase the potential of their latest Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system (with an Android 3.1 update to come in the near future). Well, true to human nature that wants to make a quick buck out of anything, a limited edition white Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has already been put up on auction on eBay, drawing 9 bids as at press time at $840.
If you love being an early adopter and do not want to wait for one more month before getting the Galaxy Tab 10.1, then this is the auction for you, giving you dual-core Tegra 2 processor goodness a good 30 days or so before the rest. Any takers?
