Virgin Mobile’s Messaging Phone

Published

on

If messaging is your thing and you’re not too fussed with smartphones and what processors they run on, in fact as long as you could text you wouldn’t mind a Nokia 3310 (to be fair they did have pretty nice buttons for texting!), then perhaps Virgin Mobile’s LG200 may very well be the device for you.

It will be in a candy-bar style designed with a full QWERTY keyboard for all your texting needs, as pictured on the right. Basically this device is targeted at users who just need a phone to make calls and send text messages and the occasional e-mail. The LG200 also comes with a VGA camera and a 2.2-inch color screen. Back to the basics that’s what I would like to think. Almost.

Anyway the LG200 will be exclusively available on Virgin’s payLo service which comes bundled with 1500 minutes of talk time and 500 text, picture, or video messages along with 10MB of data use for just $30 per month. The device itself will cost $69.99 and is available in store and on Virgin Mobile’s website now. Seems like a rather decent plan for all your basic mobile needs.
