Toshiba’s 11.6-inch Tablet Is Back

Published

Well it seems that the rumors of Toshiba having killed off their 11.6-inch Windows 7 turned out to be false as it was just recently launched in Japan as the Toshiba WT310/C which is aimed at enterprise customers. It features an 11.6″ 1366 x 768 multi-touch display with auto-adjust brightness which they call “Adaptive Display”. It is powered by an 1.5GHz Oak Trail Atom Z670 processor chip, sports 2GB of RAM, 64GB SSD, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, 2MP front / 3MP rear cameras and comes loaded up with Windows 7 Professional.

No word on pricing but it seems set to come out mid-June although it does not mention if it will be hitting the States if and when, at all. Given that the previous rumor turned out to be untrue, perhaps there’s still hope for Toshiba’s line of Chromebooks in the future.
