Tabtech who? No one can blame you if you did not know who Tabtech is. It seems that they are a Chinese company that this is their version of an Android tablet. For 75.99 GBP it does seem rather cheap compared to the other Android devices out there. Perhaps this is for those who are interested in trying out an Android tablet before dropping a couple of hundred for the more well-known ones like the Motorola Xoom or Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. The Tabtech M009S comes with a 7-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) resistive touch screen, VGA camera, Wi-Fi connectivity, 256MB of RAM, 2GB of built-in storage, Flash Player support and stylus to help you navigate that resistive touch screen. It will be coming with Android’s Froyo 2.2
If you ask me, resistive touch screens seem to be a thing of the past, perhaps that’s one of the ways they managed to produce this tablet so cheap by going resistive instead of capacitive. However for 75.99 GBP would you dare to take the plunge and give it a go? If you do, please let us know how the experience was for you! For all we know it could turn out to be a rather decent tablet at a very decent price.
